Zo wordt de Chinese valuta per 1 oktober 2016 de vijfde in de valutamand van de IMF. China’s financiële invloed zal snel blijven toenemen: de yuan zal in de bijzondere trekkingsrechten meer gewicht in de schaal leggen dan de Japanse yen en het pond sterling.
