">در حال حاضر تحولات شگرفی در شامات در شرف تکوین است : ارتش روسیه علیه تروریسم در سوریه وارد کارزار می شود. با آگاهی به این امر که از دوران فروپاشی اتحاد جماهیر سوسیالیستی شوروی، روسیه در صحنۀ بین المللی حضور نداشته است، ولی اکنون با احتیاط پا در میدان می گذارد و برای شروع یک هیئت روسی و سوری برای تحویل سلاح و اطلاعات و گسیل مستشار ایجاد کرده است. البته تمام این اقدامات کمابیش در هماهنگی با کاخ سفید صورت گرفته است.
