">بخش روابط عمومی ستاد فرماندهی ناتو در ناپل به مجلۀ ال مانیفستو (متعلق به شاخه ای از کمونیستهای ایتالیا) دربارۀ مقالۀ مانلیو دینوچی زیر تیتر « به فرماندهی ایالات متحدۀ آمریکا و ناتو » مطلبی نوشته است. کپی این نامه را برای ما نفرستاده اند، گرچه در عین حال اشتباه مترجم انگلیسی ما را نیز آشکار می کند. در گذشته، وزارت امور خارجۀ ایالات متحدۀ آمریکا مستقیماً با روزنامه هائی که جستارهای ما را به زبانهای گوناگون منتشر می کردند تماس گرفته بود تا از همکاری با ما خود داری کنند. با وجود این چنین رویکردی به ویژه در مورد یک نشریۀ کمونیستی [مانند ال مانیفستو] امکان ناپذیر است. ما این نامه و پاسخی را که مانلیو دینوچی نوشته و تفسیر خودمان را در اینجا منتشر می کنیم.
